Wanda Sykes and veteran producer Page Hurwitz joined forces in 2013 to form Push It Productions, a full-service production company dedicated to creating quality, comedy-based programming for network, cable, and digital outlets. The company boasts a varied slate of projects that includes sketch, performance specials, talk/variety, sitcoms, game show, and competition formats. Push It is uniquely positioned in the entertainment industry as a women owned and operated business with an eye toward diversity in front of and behind the camera.

Push It Productions first burst onto the scene by successfully reviving the NBC comedy competition Last Comic Standing, bringing in its highest ratings in 8 years. Since then, the company has landed projects with ABC, VH1, MTV, OWN, BET, TruTV, and Epix, including the award-winning, Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious, the critically acclaimed Talk Show The Game Show, and the recently launched Face Value with Deon Cole and Tiffany Haddish.

Beth Belew (Head of Development) joins us from ITV where she was most recently a Senior Development Consultant. She brings with her an extensive background in both unscripted and scripted comedy, having worked as a successful producer and television executive for nearly 20 years. Prior to her time at ITV, Beth was a consultant at NBC, focused on alternative comedy development, and was a Director of Development at TBS/TNT. On the producing side, she has worked on a variety of comedy projects for Comedy Central, IFC, ABC, MTV, and VH1, among others. Her producing experience spans across all genres of comedy, including sketch, game, sitcom, docu-series, prank/hidden camera, and competition. In addition to her prior work experience, Beth's passion for comedy and her vast network of relationships with executives, agents, producers, writers, and comedic talent make her a perfect fit for Push It.

Danielle Ghilardi Birckhead (COO/Head of Production) has been overseeing various television productions, both domestic and international, for more than a decade. She runs a tight ship, but always with a smile. When your call goes straight to voicemail, there's a good chance you’ll find Danielle at yoga class, dance battling people half her age or rooting for (yelling at) the NY Giants!

Angela Page (Accountant) is a military brat born in the United Kingdom, but has lived most of her life in California. She is a tax accountant turned production accountant who has previously worked at DreamWorks Animation and Warner Horizon.

Kat Korpi (Development Coordinator) Kat grew up on a ranch in Montana before making the move to Los Angeles in 2014. She loves living in California, but misses the bright stars and mountain views of her two-stoplight hometown. Prior to joining the Push It team, she worked on shows for NBC, USA, and MTV and in development at TBS/TNT and Universal Television.

Radia Hassan (Coordinator), an aspiring writer and TV fanatic, hails from the East Coast. She has worked as a freelance content writer for various travel and lifestyle online publications, and most recently as a teacher assistant at an elementary charter school.
